Globalisation evil.
It's so scary when the whole world is coming together and fighting
with each other for wealth and power. Stuff that people in the previous probably dream about and yet not crave it as much since they were so contented with the current state of their lives. What happened?
I hate living in a world that strives so hard to achieve things that are only so much. The pie is fixed, only so many people can be rich and powerful. Only so many can attain what they want to. The so-called success examples are just the tip of the iceberg. How many dead bodies are they standing on? I hate it that in the process of the so called achieving your dreams, we morphed into monsters who can defy morals or our conscience, telling ourselves, sometimes morals and conscience don't matter.
Call me useless, call me soft, call me weak. But I really hate the world we are living in now. No point showing all the pretty flowers and lush greeneries. The world is getting painted so dark that I actually fear for my kids. I want them to grow up to have the carefree childhood and actually play games with other kids, not face homework and academic stress every single day.
I am just a simple girl hoping to live in a simpler world. But I know, like what he told me, I cannot choose, so I must suck thumb and live on. Yet sometimes, I wish I am living in a different era, when everything is simpler, when humans are simpler to understand...
